Compassion Fatigue and Burnout

Caring for others is a noble and fulfilling endeavour, whether it's part of your professional role, providing unpaid care for a loved one, or simply being moved by the suffering of others and wanting to help. While this altruism is undoubtedly important, it's equally crucial to prioritize your own well-being. Without practicing self-care, you may risk experiencing compassion fatigue, a state of emotional and physical exhaustion that reduces your ability to empathize or feel compassion for others. These tips do not replace professional advice but may offer some ideas which are helpful to look after you too.

I love small businesses and working with business owners to build websites that support their dreams is such an awesome part of my job!
