Tips to avoid doom scrolling
Doomscrolling is the act of continuously scrolling through negative or distressing news, often on social media platforms or news websites. It involves consuming an excessive amount of grim information, leading to anxiety and stress and can impact on our confidence in each other, the institutions which serve us and the future. These tips offer ideas which may be helpful for self-care, they are not a replacement for professional advice.
